사회정착 안정 지원을 위한 자금 확보는 우선 미국에 먼저 와서 정착하여 자리를 잡은 탈북민 선배들의 마음에 호소하여 후배들을 위한 자발적인 지원을 이끌어내며 또한 한인 지역 사회의 여러 기관이나 단체들과의 협력이나 면담을 통하여 후원이나 기부를 이끌어 낸다.

남한에 고향을 둔 한인들에게 북한의 토속음식을 직접 만들어 맛보게 하여 한인들과의 친근감에 한발짝 더 깊이 다가갈수 있게 한다.

■ 미주 탈북민협회 인식 개선을 위한 활동

1. 지역 사회의 한인들에 대한 미용봉사나 몸이 불편한 어르신들 을 돕는 다양한 형태의 자원봉사를 통하여 한인사회의 신선함과 즐거움을 주는 탈북민협회로 자리 잡는다.

2. 우리 민족의 고유 명절인 음력설이나 추석명절을 비롯하여 지역 사회의 크고 작은 축제나 행사들에 참가하여 남한에 고향을 둔 한인들에게 북한의 토속음식을 직접 만들어 맛보게 하여 한인들과의 친근감에 한발짝 더 깊이 다가갈수 있게 한다.
